Location: the hotel was close enough to Tulum and Akumal, and Atlantic coast. I visited Green Bay Marina right at the venue for a few drinks.

Everything was great, nonetheless a few employees were not that friendly. Got reasonably priced breakfasts and overall had an amazing stay overall for a fantastic vacation.

My husband and I stayed at The Royal Sands for our honeymoon and loved every moment. The beachfront location was absolutely stunning and we enjoyed taking advantage of the amenities offered at all the Royal properties. The free shuttle service made it easy to explore the different restaurants, and we particularly enjoyed dining at El Conquistador at Royal Islander. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the balcony with its ocean view. The all-inclusive package gave us peace of mind and allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our vacation. We can't wait to return!

Stunningly beautiful and absolutely great hotel, our stay was stellar.

The venue's position was beachfront. The specialty restaurant and the main bar were on site.

On my romantic getaway, I couldn't have asked for a better hotel. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, from the spotless lobby to the super clean bathrooms. The hotel facilities, especially the large pool, were very attractive and enjoyable. Additionally, the location close to the airport made it convenient for quick transportation upon arrival and departure. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay throughout.

The Royal Sands Resort & Spa in Cancun is a fantastic hotel with friendly staff and exceptional cleanliness. The location is perfect, with the Green Bay Marina just a short 10-minute walk away, making it convenient for evening drinks. The veranda was also a highlight, providing a lovely space to relax. The staff were always polite and we appreciated the convenience of room service.

This hotel is not worth the all inclusive pricing. The food and beverages were so terribly poor quality that we ended up paying to eat elsewhere. E.G. pizzas served were microwaved frozen pizzas. When we did order room service on 2 occasions, it took 1 1/2 hours to arrive, despite ordering juice, bread and cereal. Our finished room service trays were then left outside our room for 3 days before staff took it away. The pool area was rowdy, unclean and the behaviour of other guests significantly affected our enjoyment e.g. chairs pulled into pool and left floating, parents skulling drinks and doing shots (and yelling, egging each other on) in the pool bar with their children in floaties watching on. There was clearly intoxicated people yelling and screaming all afternoon in the pool and at the pool bar, however they continued to be served alcohol. Don't get me wrong- I enjoy drinking- but the behaviour was crude, unsafe and obnoxious. I would therefore not recommend staying here if you had children, and I would also not stay here as a couple (as we were)!

Spacious one bedroom suite with large balcony. Good family hotel but not so much for a solo traveler.

The hotel was perfectly clean with very very helpful and top-class staff with the service and level of professionalism offered by ALL of their personnel. The location was perfect and magnificent for walking around an enclosed mall.
